I both like and write fanfiction (mainly Torchwood with a sprinkling of Doctor Who and a blink-and-you'll-miss-it bit of Being Human), albeit under a different handle. I like keeping it distinct from my other writing, and from my day-to-day blather. That way the people who like fic can read my fic, the people who like me can read me, etc...
