Abigail Brand: A Picspam
I still very much want to write a "fuck yeah, she's awesome!" post about Abigail Brand, but real life is not letting me do much of anything at the moment except work.
So, instead, I shall give you a mini-pic spam. (Why are there not more pics of her on the internet?!)
Observe. This is a woman who is a takes no prisoners, fight and win, smart, dedicated, brilliant, competent and not ashamed to know what she likes sort of woman! I imagine her to be a combination of Rahm Emanuel (whom I also adore) and me at my bitchiest. I love her; I want to be her.
I do not, however, want to be the one she looks at like this. She has a habit of being scathing towards people she looks at like this.
To be fair, she does have to put up with a lot of stupid in her daily life. Also, she is aware of the fact that sometimes, she is the creator of her own stupid and that only makes me love her more. ♥
She is more of an "action" character than a "thinking" character, but that's because she thinks very quickly on her feet. Did I mention that she's brilliant? She's the head of SWORD and tasked with defending earth from hostile alien life. Not an easy task. Especially not for someone half alien and someone so young.
She's also inlove lust with Hank McCoy, whom she brought on board to make sure she doesn't do things she'll regret. And yes, that is the actual reason. See the awesome?!
And now I shall go back to being productive at work. Or, start. Whatever. Happy Monday all.
