The Voting Poll has gone live!

If you enjoyed my entry on Saying Goodbye, I hope you'll take a few minutes to go to the poll and vote for me.

This year, the 180 entrants have been divided into five tribes. I'm in the second tribe, if you need help finding me. *grins* The person with the fewest votes from each tribe will be eliminated.

I encourage you all to read some of the truly amazing entries and vote for anyone that you liked. I promise some of the writing will blow your mind.

The polls close no Monday at 1 pm EST.

This particular essay would be a great addition to the women's mag we publish in Chattanooga (Blush). I haven't talked with the editor or anything, but would you consider contributing to the magazine for little to no money (I'm pretty sure her budget is nonexistent.)? I know that's not a dazzling offer, but it would be published exposure. I can always talk to the editor, if you're interested.

Yay! Thanks for that. : ) I haven't loved my essays as of late, but Laura Newsome has some great stuff. I especially like her latest in the Oct. issue. You should check it out...the theme is "Well Aware Women."
