Living Large on Friday Evening

My exciting Friday Night, let me show you it...

I'm at home. Doing laundry. So that I have clean clothes to wear.

And dying my hair, so I no longer look 20 years older than I actually am.

My roommate is here, so are we watching Doctor Who - The Last of the Time Lords. It makes me sad, but he hasn't seen it yet.

We are also exchanging witty repartee like "You're a fixed point in time." "No, YOU'RE a fixed point in time." This is a thousand times funnier because: 1) my roommate isn't a geek like me and 2) he looks just like Christopher Eccleston.

Ha, I just replied to your comment on do_it using a Dalek icon, and I come to peek at your journal and find you talking about Dr. Who!

My hair started turning white when I was 13, but I only dyed it for a few years. I'm saving my money now, but I can always go back to being blonde if the mood strikes. Maybe that'll make it onto a future Tiny Transitions list. ;-)

Ditto with the early grays. I've been solid gray since about 22. Fail.

I just can't give in gracefully at this point. Maybe when I'm older...

I like SVU. I'm so far behind - I quit watching when they made the awesome bitch DA a "sekrit" alcoholic. That pissed me off.

I spent Friday night passed out on the couch. Apparently, taking allergy medicine without eating all day is a bad idea. Heh.
