Adopt one today! Adopt one today!

After these two grow up, I'm going to take a break from this game for a bit. It's actually stressing me out that they die if they don't get enough clicks. *spazz*

**********

I just spent the last half hour tearing apart Steve's office looking for the dictaphone I use. Laura came in and found it in less than a minute. It was between the sofa cushions. She said, "I can tell you don't have kids and have to spend hours looking for remote controls."

Nope, I don't. *headdesk*

I was hoping to get some actual work done today, but that pretty much killed my window of opportunity. I'm heading out of town this afternoon and I still need to go and pack.

************

I did eat Chik-Fil-A for breakfast, though. Yummy.

************

I interviewed for a freelance position on Wednesday night. It's a start up magazine that focuses on the Atlanta Lifestyle. They have some pretty impressive backers, and I think it'll work out. I'm just excited because: 1) they pay well and 2) he already told me to come back for a second interview. He told me that before I left the first one, so yay!

The kick off party is in October, I think, and the cast of Entourage will be there. Yep. Even though I don't like that show, I think I could enjoy the perks of this freelance position.

Happy Friday, all. See you on the flip side!

Your green dragon enjoys gathering pebbles and small rocks and putting them in a pile, kind of sounds like my dog, LOL. Though she won't end up breathing fire, thank God.

Have a good weekend! You are totally kicking ass and taking names with this whole self-employed thing. You sound so, so much happier and yourself. I think this is definitely your niche!

Can you spill the deets on this new lifestyle magazine? I'm very curious!

Ok, I am convinced that once you get a law degree, they implant something in your brain that makes it impossible for you to do simple tasks (like the one you mentioned above, working a copy machine, or understanding how many stamps go on an envelope...). Blame your degree. And in the future, use the assistants for what we're here for...to keep you sane. ;-)
