So, I've been super stressed about money all month and could not for the life of me figure out why it was so tight. It turns out, I forgot to deposit a rather significantly sized check, which I found in my wallet today.

The good news is money! Also, it's money that I've made it without all month, so it's not urgently desperately needed money. I'm going to put some of it in savings and some of it on a credit card. Whoot, whoot!

I also took care of a few things that are stressing me out, so those are off my to do list. I plan to go running this evening and I'll probably put in another long night at the office. That way, shit gets done.

I'm taking half a day off tomorrow. I'm so tired and so burned out. I can't decide if I'm better off going to the pool or the movies. Thoughts?

Going to get some stuff done now, because S will be in shortly and wants to go watch the game across the street and work from there, which means I can't use the comp at that point. *woes*

Your money situation was actually better than the opposite, where you wonder why you're so rich this month... and it turns out you forgot to pay the rent. *coff* Not that this has ever happened to me. *blink, blink*

Just got all my bills paid except the auto insurance which isn't due until September. Time to update the to-do list! It's something, anyway!

P.S. The pool sounds nice and relaxing.

Yay for undiscovered money! I wish I could find some -- I just wrote up my online banking and discovered that since last Oct when we paid over $3000 to get our wall fixed, I've only been able to pay back $1800 of it (and that was before my wife's injury, which put us $1000 back in the hole.)

Swimming is great for de-stressing, as long as you don't think about what it costs (sorry, money is highly on my mind right now.) Movies cost money, too, but not as much ....

I always love the time of year when I first pull out my winter jacket. I invariably left a $5 in a pocket or something. :D

That sounds like my wife! She's pulled money from nowhere so often that I've told her that she has Magic Money Pockets. I've never had that skill myself, what a shame. XD
