I went running yesterday and ran for 2 miles. I need to take a minute and sort of bask in the glory of that. I ran for 2 miles! Now, I am not running fast and I’m not running speedy, but I am running.
I’m paying for it today, too. My hip is killing me. I think I shall finish this week running 30 minutes and then next week I shall kick my “long” runs up to 35 and then 40 the week after. But I think I’m going to start alternating and try and hit at least one if not two runs a week that work on speed. I’d be interested to see how fast I can run a lap, run half a mile, rune a whole mile. 12 minutes isn’t going to cut it.
(I can totally run a mile in 12 minutes! glee)
Weight Watchers is going well. Only, I don’t remember being this hungry last time. I know it’s an adjustment, and it does take some time to get used to the idea of portion control. At the end of the week, it’ll be worth it to see a loss on the scale. I’ve already lost some weight, I can tell.
Work is going fairly well. I don't really have anything else to say about that at the moment.
I’m donating blood tonight. It’s been a while since I tried, but I figure it’s good for karma. Or something like that. I probably need to eat before hand, so I don’t throw up or faint. I’m already feeling hungry, so I know that I can’t go in and be all woozy.
I'm tired. It's hitting me all of a sudden, but man, I could sleep in the Olympics lately.
