I know. Hate me if you must, and I hate myself a bit for admitting that I like this, but...
THE SCENE WITH THE GUY WITH THE GLITTER OUT OF HIS SHOULDERS HAS CONVINCED ME THIS IS SOME SORT OF FIGHT BETWEEN FALLEN ANGELS AND I WANT MORE. OMG, I WANT TO READ THAT SO BAD!
Which brings me to a book I read, which someone (Benjamin Bliss) turned into a trailer and won a Book Award for:
The trailer highlights the thing about the book I hated (the Twilight feel of it), but also captures some of the things that made this book impossible to put down. And the ending... is left open, but features two fallen angels, who are on opposite sides of whatever mess is going on, meeting for a moment under a truce. The "good guy" ends up leaning his head on the shoulder of the "bad guy" and for just a moment, they are united in their pain at having been rejected.
Oh, my God. It killed me and I want to read that story! Fallen isn't it, but I will read the sequels just in case it gets there. (Although the writing style rubbed me just a bit the wrong way.)
