Okay, flist, I am detecting a massive amount of life/fun sucking energy right now. This will not do. Oh, no, it will not do.

We need more fun.

So, here's some things I want to know - and don't try and chicken out of answering!

1. What is your favorite tv program right now. Why should I watch it, assuming I don't already?

2. What is the best movie you've seen thus far in 2008 (dvd or theater, don't care)?

3. What is the one thing you're most looking forward to in the next three months?

4. If you could haul off and belt just ONE person in the mouth, with no fear of reprisal, who would it be and why?

5. If I gave you $5,000 and told you that you a) had to spend it in 24 hours and b) had to spend it on yourself (bills don't count!), what would you do with it?

6. If you could have one secret super power, what would it be?

7. Share one amusing detail of your day.

Okay. Have at it!

1. Dexter. You should watch it because it's expertly crafted--from a writing, acting and filming aspect.
2. Ironman. RDJ is made of awesome.
3. Carl and Michelle's Halloween party and meeting my 10% goal
4. Sarah Palin, and I don't think I have to explain that one.
5. I would hire Stacey and Clinton from What Not to Wear and buy a new winter wardrobe.
6. Teleportation
7. I bought a bag of baked lays and a diet coke from QT this afternoon and a UPS man recognized me. I had only met him the day before. My day hasn't been that interesting...

3. Carl and Michelle's Halloween party and meeting my 10% goal

Yay for both of these!!!

Mmmmm. Iron Man. Mmmm. RDJ. MMMMmmmm. *wipes away drool and drags brain out of gutter*

And any amusing moment is an amusing moment. I say grab it and chuckle. :D

1. What is your favorite tv program right now. Why should I watch it, assuming I don't already?

Hmmm.... that's actually a hard one. I don't seem to have an overriding fave anymore. And some stuff hasn't started up again yet. I'll go with Ugly Betty. It's charming and whimsical, and it never fails to make laugh and sometimes cry.

2. What is the best movie you've seen thus far in 2008 (dvd or theater, don't care)?

This will shock you, I know. Iron Man! On DVD, 3:10 to Yuma.

3. What is the one thing you're most looking forward to in the next three months?

Finally moving. It's also the one thing I'm most dreading :)

4. If you could haul off and belt just ONE person in the mouth, with no fear of reprisal, who would it be and why?

There's so many choices! I'll go with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

5. If I gave you $5,000 and told you that you a) had to spend it in 24 hours and b) had to spend it on yourself (bills don't count!), what would you do with it?

I'd rent a vacation house on the Queen Charlotte Islands and stay till the money ran out.

6. If you could have one secret super power, what would it be?

Teleportation.

7. Share one amusing detail of your day.

I have yet to have one!

Ack! Oh no! Anything I can do to amuse???

Where are the Queen Charlotte Islands and how soon can we get there? ;)

Moving, huh? I see your excitment/dread combo on that one. Good luck!

I'm just grouchy today. Between the cold I have and that stupid commenter on ff.net GrrArgh!

http://www.queencharlotteislandseh.com/ If you look at the map, I've been to Sandspit, it's one of the many stops on the way to Smithers (http://www.town.smithers.bc.ca/), which is where my mum's from. But we only landed there on the way to Smithers. There's no airport in Rupert since it butts up against the mountains. I've always wanted to spend a vacation there :)

Yeah. Leaving a job I've had 17 years and starting all over in a new place is scary, even though I know it's a good long term move.

Kitten! I will use my only OTHER cat icon, but warn you its not as cute. *lol*

Also, sorry about the stupid commenter. Is it the same one? Phooey on that idiot, says I.

Okay. I'll start packing my bags. :D

Wow! That is scary! But good for you!

1. I have a lot of favorites lately, but one of them is Dragon's Den, where five of the richest moguls in Canada hear pitches from entrepeneurs on why they should give them money. I don't know if you can watch it, as I think it's only aired in Canada.

2. L Change the WorLd was pretty cool ....

3. I'm HOPING to see 'Farewell, Kamen Rider Den-O: The Final Countdown' but it's iffy that it'll be available within three months unless someone uploads a cam version. XD

4. Aw, come on, YOU know who (and why.) XD

5. I would spend it replacing our leaky patio doors and if there was anything left I'd also replace my leaky bedroom window.

6. Teleportation. Then it wouldn't matter that I never learned to drive.

7. I'm amused that they still have me in the Customer Service queue at work when I'm not Customer Service trained. It's been fun working around that ....

Dragon's Den! They show that on BBCA. I think it maybe started in Britain? I'm not totally sure, though.

2. I bought it! I own it! I found it at AWA and it is mine, all mine. *cackles*

4. I can guess, oh yes. *grins*

5. Boo. I'm sorry you're having so many repairs. Home ownership isn't all it's cracked up to be, I guess.

6. Teleportation, for the win. Seems to be a popular choice, and incidentally, it's what I'd choose, too.

3. Going to Vegas on vacation in Dec

4. Do I have to choose one? GW Bush

5. Trip to the UK/Scotland

6. Multiple man's power. (Jamie Madrox)

7. Well yesterday I sent this email (monthly newsletter) to everyone in the company (250 people) and I didn't realize my attachment didn't compress so I shut down the email system for over an hour until it downloaded - I've been teased about this all day today when everyone figured out it was my email that caused the lock-up It actually was pretty humorous even the IT guy found it funny

5. If I gave you $5,000 and told you that you a) had to spend it in 24 hours and b) had to spend it on yourself (bills don't count!), what would you do with it? Book a trip or place hardwood floors upstairs.

6. If you could have one secret super power, what would it be? Telekenesis

7. Share one amusing detail of your day. A guy offered to put air in my tires at the gas station. I'd finished the task already, but I thought it sweet that he offered.

2. Tony Stark, for the win! It seems fairly unanimous that it was at least one of the top three favorite movies this summer.

3. Vegas! I'll be there next week for a conference. :D

4. *snerk* Understandable. Totally.

6. Why? *curious*

7. Awww. Hehehehe.

Why Multiple man, you ask
I would love to learn a language or to play the piano or any number of other skills that require copious amount of time and dedication. If I could send off duplicates to do the learning when I absorbed them back in I'd know what they know without all the pesky studying.

1. Big Bang Theory is still my fave, its full of geeky humor.

2. Hm...I still have Sex in the City on the brain so that for DVD. Theater...I think Sweeny Todd? Its been a while since I've been to the theater.

3. My Halloween party for this month, Thanksgiving for next month (mmm food) and not driving to Swainsboro for Christmas in Dec.

4. Sarah Palin or George Bush, they are lying f-sticks. That's why.

5. After I finished crying? I would buy a Big Green Egg grill, go on a trip which involves a swim up bar or the most fantastic food on the planet...new clothes might be involved, go to a spa.

6. A secret super power? The ability to touch a book and learn all of its contents. Like in My Stepmother is an Alien...you know that 80's movie?

7. Lindsey was trying to get Xavier to tell me he loved me before bed time. He was remaining silent until she said, "Mimi dealt with you all day, you're lucky she didn't drown you, better tell her you love her." He said it after that. Only after a reminder of bodily harm.

1. I'm going to have to get ahold of that and watch it.

2. Still haven't seen either of those. I'll add them to the list. :)

3. Halloween party for the win!

5. What's a Big Green Egg grill? And yes, spa! That!

6. What an awesome power! I loved that movie. I remember the woman laughing as she "absorbed" some books. I also remember her "absorbing" Debbie Does Dallas so she knew what sex was. *lol*

7. And that made *me* laugh!

Amusing detail...it's too early. But yesterday an amusing detail was that I got Mina on the couch and as she was getting back down she hit me in the mouth with her hard-ass head. It was funny but damn it hurt!

1. What is your favorite tv program right now. Why should I watch it, assuming I don't already?

True Blood. It's loosely based on the Sookie Stackhouse books by Charlaine Harris, and although it has some really wild quirks, I find myself enjoying it thoroughly. Mind you, I had to get out of the "That isn't what happened in the book!" mode. XD Also, it's made my husband laugh so hard that he's in love with it, too, which means we both get to watch.

2. What is the best movie you've seen thus far in 2008

Ironman. By far. However, if you want something a lot more introspective and creepy, I suggest the Sundance flick "Subject Two." Slow moving. More about thought than anything else. But... good. (technically "horror.")

3. What is the one thing you're most looking forward to in the next three months?

A new president and - oh wait, non-serious. :D Well, here's what I'm sure of: The completed edit of my manuscript and a whole new spread of submissions to agents. :D

4. If you could haul off and belt just ONE person in the mouth, with no fear of reprisal, who would it be and why?

Certain family members. >_< That's just as of this morning, however.

5. If I gave you $5,000 and told you that you a) had to spend it in 24 hours and b) had to spend it on yourself (bills don't count!), what would you do with it?

New laptop. Not even a question.

6. If you could have one secret super power, what would it be?

Man, I always fall between flight and invisibility on this one... I don't knoooow! XD

7. Share one amusing detail of your day.

Here's one. :D

I've moved from southern CA to NH, as you might know. I love the change; I love the fact that I can drink the water. I love how much healthier everything is.

Well. Today, I got my hair cut, and the very talented lady working on my hair decided it really, really needed a special rinse because....

It had iron in it. Not quite like buildup; it means that it had been washed a lot in water that was not GOOD for it. The difference in texture now is amazing.

The nastiness of where I used to live still haunts me. XD

1. Haven't seen it. I shall have to investigate.

2. I'll settle for Iron Man. I'm not above being shallow. *grins* But I shall also check out this other movie you speak of.

5. Yes. You need a new laptop. Yours is causing dramaz.

7. You had Iron Hair? This amuses me, even as I'm glad you no longer have it.

I don't know if it originally started in Britain, maybe the original idea did. This version seems to be all Canadian: http://www.cbc.ca/dragonsden/

Ooo, you bought it. :) We got it the naughty way ....

Yeah, the glass doors are in horrible shape. They grow frost on the INSIDE during winter, so we've had two comforters pinned up over them to try and keep the cold out. -_-;
