Bored Now. Time for Fun.
Oct. 7th, 2008 03:37 pmOkay, flist, I am detecting a massive amount of life/fun sucking energy right now. This will not do. Oh, no, it will not do.
We need more fun.
So, here's some things I want to know - and don't try and chicken out of answering!
1. What is your favorite tv program right now. Why should I watch it, assuming I don't already?
2. What is the best movie you've seen thus far in 2008 (dvd or theater, don't care)?
3. What is the one thing you're most looking forward to in the next three months?
4. If you could haul off and belt just ONE person in the mouth, with no fear of reprisal, who would it be and why?
5. If I gave you $5,000 and told you that you a) had to spend it in 24 hours and b) had to spend it on yourself (bills don't count!), what would you do with it?
6. If you could have one secret super power, what would it be?
7. Share one amusing detail of your day.
Okay. Have at it!

Date: 2008-10-08 07:43 pm (UTC)True Blood. It's loosely based on the Sookie Stackhouse books by Charlaine Harris, and although it has some really wild quirks, I find myself enjoying it thoroughly. Mind you, I had to get out of the "That isn't what happened in the book!" mode. XD Also, it's made my husband laugh so hard that he's in love with it, too, which means we both get to watch.
2. What is the best movie you've seen thus far in 2008
Ironman. By far. However, if you want something a lot more introspective and creepy, I suggest the Sundance flick "Subject Two." Slow moving. More about thought than anything else. But... good. (technically "horror.")
3. What is the one thing you're most looking forward to in the next three months?
A new president and - oh wait, non-serious. :D Well, here's what I'm sure of: The completed edit of my manuscript and a whole new spread of submissions to agents. :D
4. If you could haul off and belt just ONE person in the mouth, with no fear of reprisal, who would it be and why?
Certain family members. >_< That's just as of this morning, however.
5. If I gave you $5,000 and told you that you a) had to spend it in 24 hours and b) had to spend it on yourself (bills don't count!), what would you do with it?
New laptop. Not even a question.
6. If you could have one secret super power, what would it be?
Man, I always fall between flight and invisibility on this one... I don't knoooow! XD
7. Share one amusing detail of your day.
Here's one. :D
I've moved from southern CA to NH, as you might know. I love the change; I love the fact that I can drink the water. I love how much healthier everything is.
Well. Today, I got my hair cut, and the very talented lady working on my hair decided it really, really needed a special rinse because....
It had iron in it. Not quite like buildup; it means that it had been washed a lot in water that was not GOOD for it. The difference in texture now is amazing.
The nastiness of where I used to live still haunts me. XD

Date: 2008-10-08 08:33 pm (UTC)2. I'll settle for Iron Man. I'm not above being shallow. *grins* But I shall also check out this other movie you speak of.
5. Yes. You need a new laptop. Yours is causing dramaz.
7. You had Iron Hair? This amuses me, even as I'm glad you no longer have it.
